Helen and Sonia

Twin sisters Helen and Sonia, were born in Lincolnshire in 1980 and started to take piano
lessons at the age is six. By the age of seven they were already performing and at the age of twelve, Helen started to play the flute and Sonia took voice training.

At the age of fourteen both Helen and Sonia were performing all over the country at RAF balls and other functions. It was then in 1997 that Helen was invited to play at the Petwood Hotel, Woodhall Spa and has remained as resident pianist ever since and is joined by Sonia on certain occasions to form their act together.

 In 1998 whilst still performing at the Petwood Hotel, Helen went to the University of East Anglia and gained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music; and Sonia went to the University of Leeds and gained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Drama. After completing this in 2001, they released their first album entited 'Wish Upon A Star' featuring the enchanting voice of Sonia.

  Currently they travel the world performing on cruise ships and numerous stages. They are recording a second album together of their new original material due to be released later on in the year.
